Connecting verified supply with qualified international demand

Backed by the maritime and commercial-management heritage of Mare Maritime Singapore Pte. Ltd., we coordinate commodity sourcing, commercial execution, trade documentation and logistics across international markets.

How to get started

Three ways to work with Mare Commodities

Whether you are buying, supplying or introducing business, the first step is the same — a documented, verifiable position on both sides of the trade.

For buyers

Importers, wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers, industrial users, processors and institutional procurement teams. We qualify your requirement, then match it to verified supply with clear commercial terms.

Submit a requirement

For suppliers

Producers, refineries, processors, mines, plantations, exporters and established trading houses. We verify legal existence, authority to sell, availability, specification and banking identity before marketing any product.

For introducers & agents

Independent representatives and brokers appointed by country, region or commodity. Commission is agreed in writing before an introduction and paid on attributable transactions that close and clear.

What we do

Services and solutions

Whatever the commodity, origin or destination, Mare coordinates the commercial and physical chain that moves it — from verifying the producer to closing the settlement.

The model

Asset-light physical trading, backed by real maritime execution

Mare Commodities does not need to own farms, mines, refineries or plantations. We identify and verify producers, negotiate commercial supply terms, match supply to qualified buyers, and manage the trade-execution chain end to end.

Depending on the transaction, Mare may act as principal trader, distributor, mandate or disclosed intermediary — always with the contracting legal entity clearly identified.

Verification before marketing

Legal existence, ownership, authority to sell, availability, specification and banking identity are checked before a product is offered.

Freight and chartering fluency

Ocean freight, vessel selection, chartering, marine documentation and port execution sit at the centre of international bulk trade — and at the centre of our parent company's history.

Margin calculated after true cost

Profit is measured after freight, insurance, inspection, financing, banking, storage, demurrage, duties, documentation and agent commissions.

The hard half of a commodity trade is the shipping

Ocean freight, vessel selection, chartering, marine documentation and port execution sit at the centre of international bulk trade — and at the centre of what Mare Maritime Singapore Pte. Ltd. has done since 2014.

Commodity sectors

Regardless of the sector, the discipline is the same

Mare sources and supplies across agricultural, food, raw-material, mineral and energy markets — every offer verified, specified and documented before it is issued.

Availability is transaction-specific. Listing a commodity does not mean it is held in stock. Every supply is subject in each case to verified supplier availability, legal tradeability, destination-country rules, sanctions, licensing, specification and contractual agreement.

How it works

Controlled execution, documented at every step

Two things decide whether a physical trade closes cleanly: a workflow that keeps counterparties, documents and cargo aligned, and controls that assume fraud is being attempted.

Ten stages, start to settlement

From first enquiry through contracting, payment security and shipment to a reconciled, archived close.

  1. 01Buyer and supplier qualified independently
  2. 04Time-limited indicative offer issued
  3. 07Payment structure matched to the risk
  4. 10Costs reconciled, records archived

Every control exists because the risk is real

Physical commodity trade attracts fraud. Each exposure is paired with the control applied to close it.

  • Registry checks and producer verification before marketing
  • Certificates verified directly with their issuers
  • Counterparties, vessels, banks and destinations screened
  • Bank-detail changes verified independently

Commodity, grade or specification, quantity, packaging, destination, shipment window and preferred payment method — that is enough for us to come back with a documented position.
